Rent A Peasant
This site was developed for a Local Living History re-enactment group. This site uses standard HTML and was developed using 'Earthy' colours as requested to fit in with the subject of the site. This is an example of how a site on a free host (Freeserve) can be eye-catching, run fast and have all relevant information easily accessible.
Images on the site are mostly thumbnails which open as new windows when clicked, this keeps down the initial loading time of the page and means that those on a slow connection can click the images and carry on reading the info while waiting for the image to show.
Updates to the site are made at the clients request, mainly adding new dates to the events and adding pictures from previous events.
